Participating Is Easy
One in three teens experiences some form of dating abuse. And 16-24 year-old women are physically or sexually assaulted at three times the national average. Teens and 20-somthings everywhere need to hear that abuse in relationships is not acceptable. They deserve to be safe and healthy.
Young people should be able to let their hearts rule.
Created by Break the Cycle and HopeLine from Verizon in 2011, the Let Your Heart Rule campaign is designed to engage high school students across the country, helping them prevent abusive relationships by providing vital information and resources. Backing up the campaign are the comprehensive help resources of loveisrespect.org, powered by Break the Cycle and the National Dating Abuse Helpline.
From our Third Annual National School Announcementto our PSA Contest, this campaign is a chance for young people to speak out on their own behalf in a united voice against violence.
